Relocate to San Antonio Texas When I first relocated to San Antonio Texas in 2001, I knew very little about the city other than the fact that the Alamo was located here.  Little did I know that the Alamo was smack in the middle of downtown San Antonio next to the Crockett Hotel that was built in 1909.
